Chromatrap® add new ChIP Validated Antibody and Primer Sets to online catalogue

The team at Chromatrap® have been working hard this month and we are pleased to announce that our catalogue of products is continuing to grow. We have added 24 new products to our website and they can be purchased via our online shop today!

These products are part of ‘ChIP Validated Antibodies and Primers’ and we have new kits in ChIP Validated Antibodies, ChIp Validated Antibody Primer Sets with Positive and Negative Gene Targets, ChIP Validated Antibody and Positive Primer Sets, ChIP Positive Primer Sets and ChIP Negative Primer Sets.

Our ChIP Validated Antibodies and Primers are popular as they reduce the time spent searching databases and designing forward and reverse primers. With our kits there is the opportunity to purchase superior quality ChIP-validated antibodies with their matching high quality primers. This is because our ChIP-validated antibodies are supplied with the correct matching primer sets so that researchers can cover all aspects of ChIP validation. They can also have the confidence that all of our primers have been tested with the exact antibody and gene target.

Here is selection of some of the new products available in our catalogue:

H3K4me1

Histone 3 (H3) is one of the core histone proteins, comprising the protein component of chromatin. H3 is ubiquitous within chromosomes and can be found bound to most gene sequences throughout the genome. The applications for this are ChIP, WB, ELISA and Multiplex and the size is 100µl.

ChIP Validated H4K5ac Antibody with Positive and Negative Primer Sets

Histone 4 (H4) is one of the five core histone proteins, comprising the protein component of chromatin. H4 is ubiquitous within chromosomes and can be found bound to most gene sequences throughout the genome. A rabbit IgG is included in this Antibody Primer Set as a negative control for the ChIP experiment. The H4K5ac positive primer set recognises the promoter of the GAPDH gene, associated with active transcription and is a suitable target for this antibody. The negative primer set recognises the MLH1 gene.

ChIP Validated H4K12ac Antibody with Positive Primer Set

Chromatrap®’s ChIP Validated H4K12ac Antibody with Positive Primer Set provides a complete set of tools to assist with a successful ChIP assay. This kit includes the H4K12ac antibody, control rabbit IgG, and positive primer sets, plus it is not suitable for use with non-human species.

Positive Primer Set 9

Chromatrap®’s Positive Primer Set 9 provides the necessary tools required for successful qPCR to validate your ChIP assay. It is a complete primer set including both forward and reverse primers, with sufficient primer mix supplied for a whole 96 well plate. Be advised that this is not suitable for use with non-human species.

Negative Primer Set 6

Chromatrap®’s Negative Primer Set 6 amplifies a 189 base pair region of the transcription start site of the GAPDH (Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase) gene. It is a complete primer set including both forward and reverse primers, with sufficient primer mix supplied for a whole 96 well plate. Chromatrap®’s Negative Primer Set 6 is not suitable for use with non-human species.
