The Chromatrap® Gel Purification kit efficiently purifies DNA from agarose gels. Using proprietary filtration media, Chromatrap® offers higher loadings of active material and assay times are under 5 minutes. Buffers are optimised to remove any unwanted impurities while providing efficient DNA recovery from samples.
Up to 400 mg agarose gel can be processed. The kit can be used for extraction of DNA fragments (50 bp-43 kb) from standard, or low-melt agarose gels in TAE (Tris·acetate/EDTA) or TBE Tris·borate/EDTA) buffer and DNA clean up from enzymatic reactions.
High and pure yields of nucleic acids are obtained using the Chromatrap® Gel Purification kit for use in various downstream applications such as ligation, hybridisation and amplification.
